2009 - Special Awards

 

Mechanic of the year: Per-Erik "Doffen" Adolfsson for being a human fuelregulator and converting a part from the bus to be a fuelregulator. Really innovative :-)
Stuntman of the year: Jon Örn "Nonni" Ingileifsson for the "no fear" attacks in the "impossible" last tracks in Skien and in Uppsala
Rookie of the year: Jørn Høidalen for his victory in Skien in his second race ever
PR-man of the year: Rolf "Råttan" Keiser for his great effort signing posters on every race to hundreds of kids.
Organizer of the year: SMK Uppsala, not bad last year and a great improvment this year.
Official of the year: Markku "Make" Sarkka, trackmaster in Kangasala. For great tracks year after year and showing great sportsmanship. Even the finnish drivers didn't have a clue about the tracks on friday night. He smiled and said "You will find out on the drivers meeting" when they asked :-)
Disaster of the year: Michael Berg for the blown clutch on his motorhome on the way to Skien and replacing it in the rain on a parking spot next to the highway.

2008 - Special Awards

 

Mechanic of the year: Torbjörn Sipuri, Predator Racing for fixing the car year after year and still smiling. I think he has spent more time in the pit than in the line up.
Stuntman of the year: Sigurdur "Siggi" Johnsson for several amazing stunts during the season.
Rookie of the year: Kari Bäckroos for an impressive driving in Finland
Crash of the year: Kari Bäckroos for his massive rollover in Finland
Oups of the year: Rolf Keiser for another high score with his bus "Wilma" when he was escorted out from Norway ;-)
Organizer of the year: Dansk Offroad Sport for a very well organized race.
Official of the year: Saija Hassinen, Mad Moose Racing for strong courage and leadership.
Disaster of the year: Fredrik Sipuri, Predator Racing for his total disaster after the rollover in Denmark. Bent rear axle, engine dislocated 15 cm, broken transmission, headders, wheel, tire, etc.etc. Even the gaspedal was bent.

Disaster of the year: Anssi Oivanen for almost burning down his brand new car and burning his ass at the same time :-)
